The thrilling tower defense battles explained in the previous chapter reach their strategic and exciting peak in the "Community Battle," introduced in this Chapter 4.
This game mode, which is the very core of "Community Wars," can be said to be the game's greatest feature, where the enthusiasm born from leading your supported community to victory directly supports the real-world activities of your "fave."
This chapter will explain in detail the full picture of the season-based Community Battles that unfold over approximately one month, and the "Medal System," a unique indicator that determines the rankings and accepts diverse playstyles. We will clarify the mechanism by which all your in-game activities become the strength of the community and how they lead to the glory of victory and rewards.
1. Overview of Community Battles
Community Battles are season-based events where players contribute to their affiliated communities through daily game activities and compete for rankings among communities. As mentioned in Chapters 1 and 2, this is not just an in-game event. The community ranking is determined by the total number of "Medals" acquired by all members of the affiliated community throughout the season, and the results have an extremely important meaning as they directly link to supporting the "fave's" real activities (e.g., holding events, increasing media exposure opportunities).
Community Battles are season-based events where players contribute to their fave's community through daily game activities and compete for rankings among communities. The community ranking at the end of the season is determined by the total number of "Medals" acquired by all members of the affiliated community.
2. Seasons and Progression
Season System
Community Battles are held in "seasons," with each season lasting approximately one month. The detailed duration of each season will be announced through in-game notices, etc.
Participation and Entry
To participate in Community Battles, you need to enter and decide your affiliation with the "community" you want to support.
- Entry Method: Select and enter the community you want to join from the dedicated in-game screen.
- Entry Timing: In principle, you can enter a community at any time during a season.
- Changing Communities Mid-Season: Once you have entered a community, you cannot change it until that season ends.
Once entry is complete, you can participate in Community Battles as a member of that community for the duration of the season.
Notably, clearing Community Battle stages does not consume BP (Battle Points), and there is no limit to the number of participations. Several stages are prepared, so you can challenge your favorite stages as many times as you like and aim to acquire Medals.
Main Phases and Player Actions During a Season
A Community Battle season progresses by repeating the following two periods. The main activities players can perform differ in each period.
- Setup Period (Stage Challenge Unavailable Period):
- During this period, challenging Community Battle exclusive stages (battle play) is not possible.
- Players mainly focus on preparations for the next "Stage Clear Period," such as entering a community, exchanging information within their affiliated community, and considering strategies.
- Medal acquisition activities that do not involve stage play (e.g., participating in specific SNS campaigns, contributing to daily rankings by purchasing Flag items, if permitted by the rules) can still be performed during this period.
- Stage Clear Period (Stage Challenge Available Period):
- When this period begins, challenging Community Battle exclusive stages becomes possible. Players can actively aim to acquire Medals by clearing stages.
- Entry into communities also remains possible.
The season progresses from the "Setup Period" to the "Stage Clear Period," and when the Stage Clear Period ends, the "Setup Period" for the next season begins. (There may be cases where the Setup Period is skipped, and the Stage Clear Period starts from the beginning of the season.)
At the end of the season, the final ranking is determined based on the total number of Medals acquired by the entire community during that season, and rewards are distributed.
(Note) Always check in-game notices and official information for the exact start/end dates and times of each period and details of events held during the period.
3. Medal System: Ranking Determination Criteria
The season ranking of a community is determined by a simple criterion: the total number of "Medals" acquired by all community members during that season.
Unlike scores that simply indicate a specific play result, this "Medal" functions as an indicator that comprehensively reflects the diverse in-game activities and contributions to the community made by each player. For example, a wide range of activities, not limited to achieving high scores in battles, such as continuous daily play, achieving specific goals, and clearing community-wide missions, are eligible for Medal acquisition. According to their respective playstyles, all players can increase the total number of Medals acquired by their affiliated community and contribute to the community ranking.
This system, based on the total number of acquired Medals, serves as the foundation for aggregating and evaluating players' diverse engagement with the game in the form of community rankings. It aims to provide opportunities for players with various specialties to contribute to the community in their own ways, and to promote cooperation and role-sharing within the community. The process of adding up the Medals acquired by each member to represent the community's overall achievement is expected to have these effects.
4. How to Acquire Medals
There are various main ways for players to acquire "Medals." Specific rules and conditions are set for each acquisition method, and the acquired Medals are awarded to the individual player or their affiliated community.
The following table summarizes the main Medal acquisition methods.
Category | Acquisition Method | Overview (Rule) | Main Conditions | Awarded To | Remarks |
A. Achieving Specific Battle Conditions | Just Score | Acquire Medals by clearing a specific stage with exactly the designated score. | Target stage and designated score vary by season and event. | Individual Player | (Refer to Chapter 3 "Core Battle Mechanics" for the principles of score calculation) |

(Note) The above rules are subject to change. Please check in-game notices, the official website, official SNS, etc., for the latest information.
5. Ranking System and Rewards
Community Ranking
At the end of the season, the final community ranking is determined based on the total number of Medals acquired by each community during the period.
Rewards such as "Reward Points" are distributed to communities according to the ranking results and are allocated to members based on their contribution.
Individual Ranking
At the end of the season, an individual ranking is separately compiled based on the total number of Medals acquired by individual players during the period.
Top-ranking players in the individual ranking can also acquire rewards such as "Reward Points."
(Note) For details on Reward Points and their exchange, please refer to Chapter 6 "Reward Flow & Economy."
